"... Gautier Capuçon gives distinctive, characterful and intense performances of both works (Herbert No. 2 and Dvorak Concerti)....It is Capuçon's gift to play with warm intensity....and the result is magical...." Gramophone - April, 2009
"Capuçon... projected a big, throaty sound in the vibrant folk themes of Dvorak's Cello Concerto. It was a magical peformance. (he)....is an expressive, involved performer... his playing was poignant but never overly sentimental... he had something imaginative to say in every note of the dance-like finale..." Cincinnati Enquirer - September, 2008
"Capuçon played with extraordinary technical grace, prismatic color and quick reflexes..." Detroit Free Press - October, 2006
