In a concert featuring Latin American Music and a World Premiere


Carlos Miguel Prieto, one of Mexico's cultural leaders and Music Director of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, conducts the Juilliard Orchestra in the closing night concert of the 33rd annual Focus! Festival, “Our Southern Neighbors: The Music of Latin America” at Alice Tully Hall on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 7:30PM.

In addition to the world premiere of Gabriela Ortiz’s Hominum: Concerto for Orchestra, the program includes Silvestre Revueltas’ Sensemayá, Reinaldo Moya’s Siempre Lunes, Siempre Marzo, and Alberto Ginastera’s Concerto for Harp, Op. 25 with soloist Katherine Siochi.
Please join us on Friday, January 27th at 7:30pm at Alice Tully Hall.
Admission is free. Tickets are available at the Juilliard Box Office.
