Next Ignat Solzhenitsyn travels to Baltimore to conduct the Baltimore Symphony in a program of Arvo Pärt Tabula Rasa and Mozart Requiem on February 28, March 1, 2, and 3, 2013.
Returning to Russia, Solzhenitsyn conducts Rachmaninoff Isle of the Dead, Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 1 and Brahms Symphony No. 3 with the Samara Philharmonic. Subsequent concerts in Moscow's Tchaikovsky Concert Hall with the Boshoi Symphony Orchestra and in Nizhniy Novgorod's Grand Kremlin Hall find Maestro Solzhenitsyn conducting works of Haydn, Bruckner and Mendelssohn.
Conductor Laureate of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Maestro Solzhenitsyn returns to Verizon Hall and the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts to conduct Beethoven Symphony No. 9 Ode to Joy on April 7, 2013.
His spring season ends with a dozen chamber performances and piano recitals performing Brahms Sonata No. 3 Le baiser de l'Enfant-Jésus and Franck Prélude, Choral et Fugue.

Under the baton of Conductor Laureate Ignat Solzhenitsyn, we journey to a historic moment in time with a program that commemorates the demolition of the Berlin Wall in 1989, leading to Germany's reunification. Performed in collaboration with a solo exhibition of photographs by James B. Abbott at the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, The Fall: A Photographic Portrait of Berlin and the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Abbott will collaborate with Jorge Cousineau and the Chamber Orchestra to present a multi-sensory experience for the concert at the Kimmel Center. Tickets for Sunday, April 7, 2013.
